The state of the union and political update, Fifth post

I am a forgetful person. I forgot to watch the State of the Union Adress. I was reading on Google news that Bill O'Riley (everyones favorite debator) "Was suprised be nothing that the president said." So I think that it was a relatively normal State of the Union Adress. Speaking of politics, I don't think that Obama will get reelected. Someone else will. I think Jimmy Mc Millan is cool. He's that guy who's running for the "Rent is too d#*n high" party (Republican). I'm not sure if he would be a good president, but he seems pretty radical on his opinions. As of now though (according to 2012.presidential.canidates.org), Newt Gingrich has the highest total delagate votes of 26 for the republican party. And Obama is obviously running for the Democrat side. So that's your major presidential canadate parties update. Leave a comment saying who you want to become the next President of the United States of America.

Project: pour water, Fourth post

I was reading the comcast.net news and read that some geothermal energy developers are going to pump 24 million gallons of water into a volcano in Centeral Oregon. These people plan to get the water to rise fast enough and hot enough to create electricity that's clean and cheap. I'm not much of a "green" type person, I don't care enough to be concious about it. Leave a comment about how you feel about green energy and alternate energy sources.

The Blackout and American Idol, Third post

Third post today, I looked at google news today and saw that the Wikipedia blackout was very successful. Wikipedia was able to get 8 million people to call their represenatives. My friend did. American Idol premiered last night, I didn't watch it. Google says that American Idol has the biggest "year-over-year" veiwer drop rate in ten years. Leave a comment on your oppinion on American Idol.

Design change and some news, Second post

For those of you who have seen my blog before, you're probably wondering "what happened to the background?" Well, I changed it. I figured white text on the black background was easier on the eyes.
Also, in the news, a cruise ship tipped over. The Costa Concordia hit a reef near Italy. So far, 11 people have been O.P.D'd and 21 are still missing. The captain did an unautharized manuver and hit a reef. Guess what, the captain also allegedly abandoned ship. What a coward. This whole thing is wacky. The moral of this is to follow the rules, I guess. If you don't, the conciquences may be dire. In this case,  the captain of a cruise ship performed an unautharized manuver and ended up killing a possable 32 people.
In other news, Wikipedia has blacked out for the day. It's to try to send a message to the people, to make them "imagine a world without free knowledge." It's to protest the government and get help protesting. You can even call your represenatives to tell them how you feel. I would hate to see wikipedia shut down. Even more people would be mad at the government than before. I would certainly be mad as well. Wikipedia is one of my favorite websites. It's one of the few things that can keep me occupied for hours on end. Leave a comment on how you feel too.

On Blogging, First post

Hello, I am new to blogging. I'm experimenting with things to do, so I thought this was a good idea. I couldn't decide on a true, direct topic or title to have, so i named it "The Anything Blog." So now, I will deem this the official first post. I may find that I do not like blogging and will stop, or this will become a relatively fun thing to do in my spare time.
